This Gentleman’s Wardrobe was a Beano Project for a pair of lovely boys. Once cleaned down and lightly sanded, an undecoat was added then the main body was painted black, the door surround was then painted red and in the recess of the door different sections of the Beano comic strip were decoupaged piece by piece. When ready it was varnished and new black knobs featuring Dennis the Menace and Gnasher completed the transformation.

State Of Distress regularly sources pieces like this for clients.
