As of March 2017 we are now stocking all Annie Sloan Chalk Paint Colours and Waxes, along with brushes, Annie Sloan Books and other paraphernalia related to furniture painting! Later in the Summer we will be offering furniture painting workshops but in the meantime we are here for hints, tips and advice, just drop in and ask away!
Old furniture is often discarded or dismissed as aged, ugly or out of date but these pieces are generally solidly made and beautifully crafted. They also tell a tale of the past and carry their own history with them which is priceless.
At State Of Distress we NEVER judge a book (or a cupboard) by its cover. Look a little deeper and you may find there is potential to turn that item into a masterpiece and give it a whole new lease on life.
